Councils have always played a critical role in the IDD service system through advocacy, evaluation and progressive thinking to ensure that the services people access are valuable in helping them to achieve their outcomes while holding the system accountable. Councils are a key component to ensuring that the service system maintains forward momentum and individuals accessing services and supports have a voice in the system.
Our team has significant experience working with Councils in many roles – from serving as Council staff, to project work, to conducting program evaluation. Community Bridges can work with your Council on RFP development, project management and planning, workgroup facilitation, speaking engagements, project evaluation, conducting system gap analyses, and strategic planning. Our work focuses on ensuring Councils are able to maintain their role as advocates for accountability.
